Watershed Biodiversity Initiative (WBI) was created as a non-profit organization in March 2018 to support a comprehensive and unprecedented Roaring Fork Watershed Biodiversity and Connectivity Study. The study was completed in 2022.

What We HOPE TO Achieve
Develop for the million-acre Roaring Fork Watershed a science-based strategy for the protection and restoration of natural biodiversity and habitat connectivity on a landscape-scale.
Conserve and enhance wildlife habitat and ecological processes in the Watershed.
Catalyze informed stewardship that engages the entire watershed community.
